Vi�a del Mar is a town and commune in Chile owned by the Province and the Valpara�so Region , together with other urban centers, the city is part of the conurbation of Greater Valparaiso . Located in the central coast , near the mouth of the Marga Marga the Pacific Ocean .
It is known as the Garden City for its original architectural style suburban "houses fifth" established by the British resident in Valparaiso who had their summer homes and amenities in Vi�a del Mar in the late nineteenth century
