Taşucu is a small town of Silifke, Mersin, Turkey. About 10-11,000 people live in Taşucu but this number increases to about 20,000 by the tourists in summer. (ın 2010 population is 8,392)Taşucu has got a nice blue sea and green forest. Taşucu is the main ferry terminal toGirne—the main port of Northern Cyprus.

There are two primary schools, one high school and one university; these are "TaşucuİlköğretimOkulu (Taşucu Primary Education School)", "Taşucu SEKA İlköğretimOkulu (Taşucu SEKA Primary Education School)", "TaşucuDurmuşTezcanLisesi (TaşucuDurmuşTezcan High School)" and "TaşucuSelçukÜniversitesi (TaşucuSelçuk University)".

Taşucu became more beautiful with new TOKİ houses. And, the festival is organised every summer in Taşucu. In 2009 the festival was help on the 7th to 9 August. In 2010 a free ship-trip was organised for Taşucu people last day of the festival.

Taşucuspor is Taşucu's football team. Their colours are blue-white. The football fans of Taşucu say them Mediterranean's Devils or Red Satans
