In 1908 the municipality of Samaná already recognized Norcasia settlement population as such, thanks to its wealth and attractive, then came Sonsón characters, Abejorral, Manzanares and Pennsylvania, adventurers who came in search of rubber, gold and hunting improve their living conditions.

The center town nestled on the right bank of the river and Honey largely on the Moro River, was founded by María Jesús Carvajal, Dimas Gomez, Antonio Valencia, Santiago and Jose Gallego Gallego Arias; data of the first settlers dating back 1924, in which he
