The April 7, 1822 held in Bomboná a battle of historical importance for Colombia known as the Battle of Bomboná where armies clashed liberators Simon Bolivar against the Spanish.

It can be seen as evidence of a large two-story colonial home, built in adobe walls, pillars, doors and windows in wood, ceiling tile; which was the headquarters of the liberating army.

Also, we find the beautiful La Stone Bomboná which offers a majestic view of a plateau and canyons and Guáitara Cariaco river from this famous stone is said that the deliverer directed his soldiers when faced with the royalists.
