San Fernando is a municipality in Colombia
located in the department of Bolívar , on the banks of the Magdalena River .It is situated 260 km south of the provincial capital, Cartagena
de Indias .
The town was founded on May 30, 1759 and named in honor of
the King of Castile Ferdinand III
