Cariquima altiplanico is a village, a few kilometers south of Colchane , in the Region of Tarapac�(Chile), on the slopes of Nevado Huanapa Cariquima or Mama . Is central meeting point of Aymara indigenous communities. It offers services, post of first aid , school, electricity (only during the evenings) and airfield , the latter built by the Chilean Air Force in 2003. In architecture, stands the old church, the historic monument year 2006.
