The Center for the Study of the Historical Heritage of the Province of Llanquihue (CEPH), 15 is an entity formed by local historians and researchers since 2003studying the iconographic heritage of Puerto Montt and the area.

 Movies

The first exhibition of cinema on record occurred on the night of July 2 of 1902 , in Puerto Montt. One of the greatest filmmakers that has given this city the world has been Raul Ruiz .

Painting

An important milestone in the history of Puerto Montt painting was the arrival in 1926 of Pacheco Altamirano who became famous Angelm� sector in Chile.
