Damas Island is one of three islands forming part of the Humboldt Penguin National Reserve , in the IV Region of Coquimbo , Chile . It has two beaches , La Poza and scissors, white sand and emerald green waters, used for diving. Its neighboring islands are Choros and Cha�aral , but Checkers is the only one which can land and has a small camping area.



Damas Island has an area of 60.3 hectares
