into a mockery lost in time since the Spanish conquest. Represents the cunning against the force of subjugation, the Indian intelligence to survive against slavery in Spanish. Mythical being, half bull, half deer, is the expression of that struggle and unity, but in battle together. The bull is brute force, the Spanish arrogant, haughty, and the deer is the Indian who uses his wisdom to not get caught, to survive. The Torovenado is actually an organized expression of the population, camouflaged in a carnival culminating in an entire season of folk festivals in Masaya, population and infighting plaza, dominated resistance to domination. 

Feast of Agüizotes

The Feast of Agüizotes or simply "The Agüizotes" is a traditional celebration Nicaraguan held annually as a tradition of the inhabitants of the city of Masaya since the mid-twentieth century and takes place on the last Friday of October, with a previous on Thursday night with the highly anticipated " Candle Chandelier ".

Natural heritage

The Masaya Volcano National Park is an outstanding and interesting place that combines the largest volcanic lake of Nicaragua, Masaya lagoon or support, with a volcano (the Masaya, or Popogatepe, and means "burning mountain") that has 5 craters, one with steaming lava. Your heart is a very remarkable and volcano logical museum to help understand full well that the countryside.
