Industrial land differs radically from
commercial land in that commercial land is defined primarily by proximity to
commercial activity or traffic, whereas industrial land is most often composed
of sizeable tracts which meet crucial industrial criteria. Industrial land must
be undivided and of regular shape, completely flat, close to industrial power,
water and drainage supplies, and well serviced by transportation
infrastructure.
