Tenerife is a municipality in the
department of Magdalena , Colombia . Located in the
Rio Grande Valley of the Magdalena, with a height of 20 meters , warm
weather, with an estimated population of 15,000 inhabitants, was elevated to
the category of Municipality through Ordinance # 011 of June 26 of 1923 . It
was conquered and founded on the ruins of the Indian village by Captain
