Historically, San Luis is a living
testimony of the famous pioneer spirit of the Paisa Region of Colombia . The
history of San Luis is not as long as there not exactly occurred Historic fuss,
but rather the future of almost pure spirit Antioquia peaceful and
entrepreneur. From the established towns of Antioquia and particularly those in
the east of this Department, by the middle years of the nineteenth century
there was a migration flow colonizer of paisas to the southern lands, looking
for the high fertility Cauca River , the Tolima , the Caldas and Valle del
Cauca in the north.
