History of Maripi

Before the arrival of the Spaniards, there was an indigenous settlement in the area where it is now MaripĂ­ this Aboriginal group belonged to Muzos ethnic family caribbean , which maintained a constant conflict with the Muisca , inhabitants of the altiplano Cundiboyacence .
