Conquest

According to historical accounts said that the expedition of Spanish conquistador Don Juan Badillo cruel and ambitious, given the name of this place Gori found inhabited by indigenous and Don Francisco Caesar jericoano who arrived in the territory in mid-sixteenth century ( 1540 ) but not inhabited by not finding large deposits of gold, then, these highlands were covered by forests that were difficult unexplored.

Settlement and Foundation
