The city flag was adopted by resolution No. 003 of 1960. It has two colors, white and red, in two equal horizontal stripes, the top white and the bottom red color, symbolizing peace and grandeur with white and red liberty with synthesizing motto "peace achieved BASED ON FREEDOM" carry the flag in the center the coat of arms of the City.

The coat of arms was awarded with the title of Villa San Bartolome de Las Palmas by royal decree on March 4, 1643 with the emblems of the House of Austria and the Bourbons .

The Hymn of the Honda City was adopted by Municipal Agreement No. 026 of 1960 and authored by Elizabeth Buenaventura of Buenaventura.
