Tala is a small city in the north of the Canelones Department of southern Uruguay. It is located on the intersction of Route 7 withRoute 12, about 25 kilometers (16 mi) north of San Jacinto, 20 kilometers (12 mi) east of San Ram�n and 18 kilometers (11 mi) south of Fray Marcos of the Florida Department.
Tala is also the name of the municipality to which the city belongs
