Gorzów is an economic centre of the region with almost 18,000 registered
businesses (2008), the unemployment rate is 7,6%(December 2009). The City of
Gorzów has received an air Play Commune-Certified Investment Location award in
big cities classification. The city has a good shopping and services
infrastructure. There are numerous petrol stations, branches of all major banks
and insurance companies as well as car dealers.
