Cagayan de Oro is a highly urbanized and capital city of the province of Misamis Oriental in Mindanao, southern part of the Philippines. It serves as the regional center and business hubs for Northern Mindanao (Region X), and is part of the growing Metropolitan Cagayan de Oro area, which includes the city of El Salvador.
