In the district, the climate is generally pleasant except in summers. Except for the south-west monsoon, the rest of the year, waves moves slowly. The district's usual minimum temperature rests around 25–26 degrees Celsius (77–79 °F), and the maximum temperature rises up to 45–46 °C (113–115 °F). May is the hottest month of the year.
