JuteVilla
In the British period it was a Royal Air Force(RAF) station, an airfield. It played host to various airlines, and till today 3 hangars of RAF still stand. After Independence Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, the CM of West Bengal that time developed that airfield to a planned city. Formerly this place was known as "Habra Urbun Colony". Later it was named "Ashokenagar". But the request of making the British station to Habra Urban Colony was made by Mr. K.N.Ghosh, the then employee of Royal Air Force to Air Marshal Gibbs. H e then permitted it. Later it was done by the state government
