Ubaté is a Colombian municipality of Ubaté
Province , in the department of Cundinamarca . It is the capital
of the eponymous province , and is located at the entrance to the
valley of Ubaté. Its official name is Villa de San Diego de Ubaté in
honor of its founder. The town is known as the Dairy Capital of
Colombia . A Ubaté only be reached by land transport, is 95 kilometers from
Bogota and 50 km of Chiquinquira.
