History of Ubala

In a small valley in the foothills is Ubalá, a town located 126 km from Bogotá, DC at an altitude 1949 meters above sea level. Following the Calera, Gausca route Gachetá can reach our town.

Ubalá equals Ubalá and means "place of skirt" or "place of the slope." The early founders were Chios , the nation Chibcha , who had his seat in the place now called Pueblo Viejo.
