Tarapacá is a township departmental Colombia, located in the department of Amazonas. It is 100 meters.

It was founded by settlers Peru until 1932, when sovereignty passed to Colombia. Its name comes from an ancient Peruvian department happened to Chilean administration in 1884 after the Pacific War. Tarapacá belonged to Peru a few months during the Conflict of La Pedrera , in 1911.
