Santo Domingo de Silos, also known as Silos
is a municipality in Colombia located in the department of Norte de Santander,
northeast of the country. It lies 123 km from the
provincial capital, Cucuta. The township borders Mutiscua
and Cácota , east to Chitagá and west and on the south by the department of Santander
. A large part of the town (over 20 hectares) is part of Paramo
Santurbán , water source for Santander and Norte de Santander
