tradition, a traveler priest offered Mass there. In the year of 1921 and is now
an important village, was elevated to township, officially naming it Puerto
Rondon and being designated as first authority Mr. Alejandro Riay.
Puerto Rondon was born nationally municipality by decree 677 of 13 April 1987
and its administrative and fiscal effects began to take effect from 1 May of
the same year.
