Battle of Sucumbios

The June 12, 1825, in Sucumbios, near the passage of FUNES, generals and patriots Flores Farfan, defeated the royalist leaders Juan and Jose Benavides, lieutenants funeños Colonel Don Juan Agustín Agualongo who was fucilado in Popayan 13 July 1824.
