trees. According to reports Mr. Javier Espitia that in the late nineteenth
century there were already several houses that made two sectors; the bajeros

Barrios El Carmen and El Bongo; then the village was founded around 1900 by Mr.
Eugenio Sánchez and José Manuel Bolaños; the village belonged to the territory
