Vranduk name was first mentioned in 1410 . This area has always been of geostrategic importance. Role Vranduk was to control the traffic from the direction of the Pannonian Plain ( Hungary and Austria ) across Bosnia, to the Adriatic Sea .
It once served as the only one of the many medieval Bosnian cities, which are located in this region that represents an area with a rich political, economic and cultural life.
