History of Pueblorrico

Santamaria inherits the land.

Around 1869 the town acquired the status of township and later in 1907 the parish.

In 1911 it is secreted from the town of Jericho who purchases municipal fraction. Although the district is otherwise tried to call, Bethsaida, the word of Pueblorrico persisted for generations, apparently as a result of the early Spanish conquistadores set foot on land found that indigenous considerable amounts of gold and baptized so.
