By plane
Berne's small international airport Bern-Belp (BRN) with direct flights from Munich, Barcelona,Paris, London via LCY (city airport) as well as several seasonal destinations in Europe lies just a few kilometers south of the city. A taxi ride into the city costs approx. CHF 45.-
The airport bus 334 takes you from the airport Bern-Belp to Belp, from where an S-Bahn train goes to Bern. The ticket for the whole ride (bus + train) costs CHF 6.-
Berne is connected to Zurich Airport (ZRH) in 74-78 minutes by IC train routes St. Gallen - Winterthur - Z�rich Hbf - Berne - Gen�ve A�roport or Romanshorn - Winterthur - Z�rich Hbf - Berne - Brig. From Geneva Airport (GVA) there are direct IC trains to Bern which take approx. 2 hours.
By train
Bern is conveniently located in the vast network of Swiss Federal Railway between Geneva, Basel and Zurich and is served twice per hour by express (Inter City) trains from each of these cities as well as Z�rich and Geneva airports. Hourly express trains take you into all directions, including Inter laken, Brig, and Lucerne.
By car
Berne is easily reachable with the national motorway network from all directions and has several exits from motorways A1, A12 and A6
