The municipality also held its festival named HANE Festival. HANE comes from their term of saying OK. For example: "Do a great job OK?" or when you are in Tanay townsfolk will say, "Do a great job HANE? or in Tagalog: Galingan mo trabaho mo HANE?. It starts November 12 which happens to be the anniversary of San Ildefonso Parish, the towns Parish, and ends November 20. It presents the beauty of Tanay, Street Parades and Contests and Amateurs on Tanay Park every day of the festival. The festival begins when the soldiers fire the cannon with Bishop Gabriel Reyes, Rev. Fr. Noeh Elnar and Rev. Fr. Jose Evan Yuri Alumbro
