Culture of Matagalpa

The ancient church of Dolores or San Jose and San Felipe or Molaguina.

There are some unique buildings have been born in them leading figures, like the house of Bartolome Martinez, President of Nicaragua (1923 - 1925) and the nursery of Carlos Fonseca Amador (1936-1976)

It also should not miss the town of Metapa Ciudad Darío birthplace of poet Rubén Darío, 1867-1916 where his birthplace, now a museum .

Other interesting museums are the Museum Café in the city of Matagalpa, and Coffee Museum in Black Forest .
