Culture of Masatepe

Catholicism is the predominant religion. There are two widely recognized parishes. Although the main parish of San Juan Bautista and Masatepe carries the name of San Juan Bautista de Masatepe, the Patron Lord of Trinidad is represented under the figure of the Black Christ and whose yield is the Parish of Veracruz.

Evangelical religion is represented by various associations Baptist Church, Faith Center, Church of God and the Pentecostal Church which harbor the greatest numbers. Among the activities are the Sunday services, Sunday school, Sunday School for Children, Meeting of cells.
