Travel to Comayagua

Rent a car at either of those airports, or catch one of the many busses running the SPS-Tegucigalpa-SPS route.

Bus

A ‘directo’ (direct, door-to-door) bus runs between Tegucigalpa and Comayagua, with a one-way ticket costing 100 lempiras. The ticket office in Tegucigalpa is on the first basement floor of the City Mall, below the Nichita shops (ask any of the City Mall parking attendants). Tickets must be bought in advance, and ID is required. The ticket office in Comayagua is in the Metroplaza.

As of September 2013, buses run every 1.5 hours between 06:00 and 16:30 Monday to Friday, between 06:00 and 15:00 on Saturday and between 07:30 and 15:00 on Sunday (with additional services at 16:00 and 17:00). The journey takes around 1.5 hours
