Villa de Leyva has a wide range of tourist services and others will find more than 100 hotels located both in the center and the periphery and surrounding areas, many of them have sevicios wet area or spa, beautiful gardens and luxurious rooms, however being an international tourist destination is visited the municipality annually by thousands of foreigners passing known as "backpackers" who prefer to stay in hostels or inns to share a room.

Many of the young visitors, especially in prefer camping festival season as the climate and geography of Villa de Leyva is provided for this activity.

The municipality currently has different tour operators that will provide a specialized guidance for the two sectors they have, both the green area where you will find the Sanctuary of Fauna and Flora of Iguaque, Valle Escondido, La Periquera, Ca, on the Cane between others, as in the desert with its beautiful landscapes, viewpoints and blue holes, as in the surrounding municipalities near as> Gachantiva and Santa Sofia surrounded by waterfalls and caves conducive to adventure sports
