The fishing is the
main economic activity of the municipality, is performed in the Cienaga
Grande and the Caribbean Sea, is developed using traditional methods and
inadequate as zangarreo and dynamite practices are used, which contribute to
the deterioration of Cienaga, put at risk not only the lives of those who
practice this profession, if but also the species that are not yet suitable for
