From 1806 there was in the same place now occupied Frontino, a small village founded by some gentlemen Arias Guzman , coming from Sabanalarga and Cañasgordas . In 1842 came inhabitants of Santa Fe de Antioquia Department and elsewhere. In the year1872 did not look tiled building by some, only a small church of wall and tile, the others were thatched.
