History of Cienaga de Oro

reorganized by the Spanish conquistadors who commanded Torrezal Juan Diaz Pimienta , who was under the command of the legendary Antonio de la Torre y Miranda . They agreed the name of San José de Cienaga de Oro and reason had 824 inhabitants. The name of Cienaga de Oro would put the Spaniards and corresponded to the huge amount of gold found in these lands. Which was coupled with the ambitions of the Iberians who did not blush to exclaim: "The Spaniards suffer a heart which only gold cure". They had already been plundering the lands of La Tota and thirst for the precious metal had not been sated. Cienaga de Oro is located in the region Finzenú. Caribbean were natural origin.
