ss="MsoNormal">Compared to the pre-Columbian ancestors who
lived in this region, the model Territorial Appropriation historically built
for land use in the last century, has been losing the knowledge and sense of
understanding towards the natural environment and physical determinants -
biotic and ecological , surviving remnants of channels and crafts producing
these first settlers. All this historical process has generated an amalgamation
of cultural and historical legacies and symbolic spaces in this settlement,
such as Ceiba, the church, the street 20 January, among others.
