Novi Sad has several folk song
societies, which are known as kulturno-umetničkodruštvo or KUD. The most well known societies
in the city are: KUD SvetozarMarković, AKUD Sonja Marinković, SKUD Željezničar,
FA Vila and the oldest SZPD Neven,
established in 1892.
