The parish is in the Roman Catholic Diocese of
Waterford and Lismore. At the Synod of Rathbreasail in 1111, it
enjoyed the status of a bishopric in its own right due to the esteem in which
St. Declan's monastery was held. The present parish church is the main church
in the parish of Ardmore and Grange, however, due to a lack of
priests in the area, the Parish Priest, Father Milo, serves that parish. The
