Humidity levels are usually very high all
year round. Manila has a distinct dry season from late December through May,
and a relatively lengthy wet season that covers the remaining period with warm
temperatures. In the rainy season it rarely rains all day but the rainfall is
very heavy during short periods. Typhoons can occur from June to September and
can cause flooding in parts of the city
