lang="EN-IN">  has daily connections to Lima (18 hours)

For surfers, Transportes Linea have frequent buses from Piura & Chiclayo through Pacasmayo to Trujillo. Buses leave Trujillo for Huanchaco frequently & Trujillo's Santa Cruz terminal for Puerto Malabrigo (aka Puerto Chicama) every 2 hours.

Star Peru has regular flights from Lima to Talara, Tumbes & Piura.

Bus from Cuenca to Mancora: Buy your ticket at the main Terminal Terrestre for the 7:15am bus. Look for the "Pullman Sucre" office. They will sell you a double-ticket, one $7 ticket to Huaquillas, and a separate CIFA ticket from there to Mancora for $8...totalling $15 (as of May 2013). The first chunk of the bus ride takes about 5 hours and drops you off at the Pullman Sucra office. From there you walk 2 blocks or so to the CIFA office (ask around to head in the right direction). The bus to Piura will leave around 12:30pm and take about 3.5 hours to reach Mancora. This CIFA bus will take you to the ONE immigration office that you will need. Here, they stamp you out of Ecuador, and then in a separate line 2 feet away, another employee will stamp you into Peru. Easy and free. Board the bus that should be waiting for you outside and enjoy the rest of the ride
