About Jamrud Fort

JuteVilla
Jamrud Fort was built by the Sikhs in 1823 Located at the entrance to the Khyber Pass.

In 1837, it was here that the Afghans attacked the Sikhs during the Battle of Jamrud and Sardar Hari Singh Nalwa, the Sikh Commander, was killed. But Sikhs won the war. It was built to stop the attacks of Afghan (Afghanistani) people from Punjab to India because when those people attacked India, Punjab had to face a lot of losses as a result of its geographical location. It is believed that no Afghan dared to attack Punjab via this route after its construction
