Travel to Todos Santos

Todos Santos has no airport so it makes your vacation a bit of an adventure as far as travel arrangements are concerned.  San Jose del Cabo International Airport (approx 1 1/2 - 2  hours) and La Paz International (1 1/2 hours) are the closest airports, you will probably end of using one of these airports to get to Todos Santos.  A rental car is probably your best bet as the few private transportation companies seem to think that all arrivals in either airport are extremely wealthy.  If there are more than two in your group, the cost ($300.00 to $600.00 for a round trip from Los Cabos) can be split among your group and private transportation becomes more reasonable.  The one exception, with decent shuttle prices, is Eco Baja Tours (see below).

Los Cabos is probably the easiest airport, if you are going to Todos Santos, with many flights landing in San Jose del Cabo International Airport every day.  The airport has recently been remodeled and it operates pretty smoothly, at least by Baja standards.  We have listed most of the North American airlines that have scheduled flights into San Jose del Cabo International Airport (airport code SJD).  There are also international flights that arrive from Europe and the far east. There are some regional airlines that fly in and out of other Mexican destinations and a few charter airlines also use the facilities.  There is a new private plane terminal to the north of the main terminals that accommodates private aircraft with it's own customs and immigration staff.  Jet fuel is available for private planes, as is aviation grade gasoline.

La Paz is a little more difficult to get to, but not that bad if you plan carefully. Alaska Airlines offers direct flights to La Paz from Los Angeles three times a week.  AeroMexico, United, U.S. Airways, Delta and American Airlines offer different combinations of direct flights or flights with connections to La Paz
