The Vicenza weather features four seasons: summer (June to mid-September), autumn (mid-September to November), winter (November to February) and spring (March to May). Summer



Summer, that arrives in June and lasts till September, brings hot and humid weather for the inhabitants. During the period Vicenza temperature climbs to 30°C while the low stands at high teens. A frequent level of rainfall with irregular thunderstorms is common during this time. August is the wettest month of the year when Vicenza receives more than 90 mm of precipitation. Throughout these summer months the city witnesses more than nine hours of sunshine per day.



Winter

Winter, from October till early March, in Vicenza remains very cold with the average low of 5°C. During January, the coldest month of the year, the average low stands at -08°C. However, as the season progresses temperature increases gradually, as March gets more than 15°C of average high. Although Vicenza receives a little rainfall throughout the season, it gets some more hours of sunshine at the end of the winter months
