Travel to Camogli

JuteVilla
The best way to reach Camogli is by train.

The local train station is Camogli - San. Fruttuoso, along the train line connecting Genoa and La Spezia. From Genoa, it is approximately a 20-minute ride. From Milan, the entire trip takes approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes.

Getting there by car is not recommended, due to lack of parking (reserved for residents) and difficult access roads. If you care to try, the closest highway is the A12, which runs from Genoa to Livorno, and the closest exit is at Recco, from where you will have to follow the state route along the coast to Camogli. There's paid parking near a shopping center, which offers regular shuttle service to town, an ideal arrangement for those who intend to stay for just a few hours.

A more panoramic route is the one that goes from Rapallo to Ruta.

If the weather permits, you may reach Camogli by sea, via ferry service from the Porto Antico in Genoa, from Rapallo and from Santa Margherita Ligure.

From Camogli, you may easily reach Punta Chiappa and San Fruttuoso, from 8 am to 7 pm, and additional night service during high season.

Reaching Camogli on foot from Portofino or from Punta Chiappa through San Fruttuoso is an absolute must. This itinerary is one of the most involving and rewarding in the entire Gulf of Tigullio. It's an easy walk along moderate slopes for approximately 4.5
