In a lot of cases, but not all, the couple will have two ceremonies. There will be one ceremony for the guy's side and then one ceremony for the girl's side. In some cases the couple's elope. This is a cultural practice. The couple will go missing. The family does not know of their whereabouts. After three days the guys family will go to the house of the girl's family. In this exchange the guy's family will discuss about the guy liking the girl and assure the family that the daughter is safe. Then they will talk about having a ceremony where the marriage is finalized. The ceremony and tradition will vary according to the family's religion
