The district experiences a subtropical monsoon type of climate. The months of December and January are the coldest months. Sometime it extends up to march as well, followed by winter winds. The summer season usually starts from March. June is the hottest month which is followed by monsoons. The rainy season lasts till October. In fact October to November are transitional months when the weather is pleasant
