Kharkai river surrounds Adityapur from three sides (except west), and is connected with the well known Cosmopolitan City of Jamshedpur (famous for Tata Steel) through a Toll bridge via Kadma and kharkai bridge via Bistupur over river of Kharkai (east of Adityapur)
